The Cause
Storytelling is ancient and innate, and vital to the way we develop thought, faith, passion, and community in fiction and reality. My goal entering higher education was to perfect the artistic methods and techniques to fully render the complex stories I admired. At Antioch College, I’ve refined the substance and range of material I can use to develop value, wisdom, and revolutionary thought to craft my own stories. At Antioch, I realized the potential of art and story created to reflect radical and possible change we could make in the “real” world. The first chapter of The Cause, a webtoon formatted comic, sets the stage for the orphaned twins, Candance and Alexandra Tipton, journey into self discovery and adulthood. As they blow out the candles on their 18th birthday, their reality is rocked by a slamming knock on the front door.
